Most people meet Raleigh the same way. They come in off I-40 for a job, drive through Five Points on a Saturday with the windows down, pass the oaks arching over Glenwood, and somewhere around the farmers market they start thinking, "could we live here?"
That is exactly how it happened for me. I came for two years and stayed for eleven — for the porches, the pines, the way neighbors still wave from the sidewalk.
I built this site to be the resource I wish I'd had: a real guide to the neighborhoods, the schools, the numbers, and the homes that make Raleigh home.

For me the connection to Raleigh is personal. I have spent a decade walking these neighborhoods with families — first-time buyers on Person Street, growing families trading up into Hayes Barton, empty nesters letting go of a house they raised everyone in.
